Summary

AdShield does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs. Website filtering, dark mode, link cleaning, whitelist settings, and statistics are processed on your device.

Browsing data

Safari Content Blocker rules are supplied to Safari by the operating system. AdShield does not receive or store your browsing history. The Safari extension uses the current page only to apply the features you enable; it does not send page addresses or page content to us.

Network access

Filter rules are included with each App Store version. AdShield does not operate a rule-update, analytics, account, or advertising service. The extension accesses websites only when you browse them and does not send their addresses or contents to us.

Local storage

Your preferences, whitelist, and locally calculated blocking statistics remain in the app’s shared container on your device. Removing the app removes this local data subject to Apple platform behavior and backups.
